Herb Palmer is a pastor in the ELCA and he is currently serving as the Interim Director for Leadership in the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Houston. He has served congregations in LaVernia, Brenham, Dallas, and, most recently, in Bellaire. His pastoral passions have been transformational leadership, faith formation for discipleship, and social justice. His undergraduate studies were at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and he received a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Lutheran Theological Seminary, also in Columbus. Herb grew up in Baltimore, MD.
