Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

CHIP helps families who earn too much money to qualify for Medicaid, but can't afford to buy private insurance. Families pay premiums and cost-sharing based on their income for doctor visits, prescription drugs, and emergency care.

CHIP Perinatal Program provides prenatal care for the unborn children of low-income pregnant women that do not qualify for Medicaid.
