Advocacy Camp: Texas Legislature Online

I went to the Advocacy Camp on March 9th, and this is some of what I learned. The words Texas Legislature Online placed in the space in your search engine or  http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/  will bring up an extremely useful website. It contains the full searchable text of Texas laws, bills, and Constitution, schedule of events at the Capitol building, links to the House and Senate calendars, and details of the legislative process, who represents you, and much more.  An impressive demonstration of this by the staff of Texas Legislature Online was just part of the Advocacy Camp at the Capital sponsored by Texas Impact and People for the American Way.
