Immigrants in Texas represent 16 percent of the population, more than the national average of 12.5 percent. These men, women and children may not have been born in Texas, but they are hard-working, law-abiding and proud Texans just the same.

Community members, advocacy groups, elected officials and allies from all around Texas will convene in Austin to ask for a comprehensive immigration reform that is good for the economy, good for security and good for families.
