Economic Stimulus and Recovery

Realizing that it is in Texans' best interest that their share of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is invested wisely, Texas Impact has been heavily involved in advocating for strong coordination and transparency measures. The Recovery Act touches on almost all of the organization's priority areas, and we have been adamant that Texas should have a coherent and comprehensive plan for maximizing the benefit that the Recovery Act could bring to people across the state. The Recovery Act is also the most transparent federal legislation ever enacted, and Texas Impact is working to ensure that Texas meets or exceeds that standard.
