72 Hours for Clean American Power

Texas wind turbineLegislation to limit global warming pollution has been stalled in the Senate for 8 months now and the Clean Air Act is under serious threat. It is time to call for a better way. On March 2-4, the Texas faith community has the opportunity to join in partnership with others around the country in calling on the Senate to make real and immediate progress on global warming.

As people of faith, we are concerned about God’s creation, human health and the legacy we will leave for future generations. When you call Senators Hutchison and Cornyn, please urge them to: “oppose efforts to weaken the Clean Air Act, and instead, ensure that we pass comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation today.”
